Konosuba Season 1 Review
Konosuba season 1 is the best way to start an anime project, a successful first season means fans would get hungry for more. The Isekai genre is filled with anime that feel the same way, but Konosuba will make you feel a different emotion. It’s literally like an Isekai Parody, it starts getting interesting after the first 3 episodes! The animation can be a bit dull at times, but the storyline by the animation studios is what keeps us hooked.
Our Mc Kazuma Sato is an introverted Gamer who doesn’t care about the outside world and Vitamin d. One day he tries to turn into an anime Mc and dies in an accident saving a girl. We know that ‘Truck Kun’ never fails to start an Isekai anime. Kazuma meets the Goddess Aqua, she is clearly too rude to him and mocks him for the way he died. She makes an offer of reincarnation on earth and the other option is to enter heaven’s pearly gates. But Kazuma has an extra option this time! He can actually keep his memories and enter a fantasy world where he would become a player surviving the game!
Kazuma also gains powers of his choice, also a free wish where he chooses Aqua to accompany him on his journey. Aqua is shocked but she has to grant him his wish! Having a goddess as a sidekick and entering a fantasy world with powers is every gamer’s dream.
Now in this new world, Kazuma has to climb the ladder to even reach the final boss, the Devil King! If Aqua wishes to return as a goddess she has to defeat the devil king with Kazuma. But they both are weak in this world and now they need to beat small opponents and gain powers before they face the final king. They need to start working jobs in this world to keep food on their plate, Kazuma starts scouting members for his party and finds some interesting members. They start living in an abandoned mansion after some time, we are sure they were happy to leave that damn stable.
If you’re someone who enjoys fanservice in anime then you’re at the right place. The goddess Aqua doesn’t wear underwear and her dress is barely covering her peaches. The funny and perverted scenes make it humorous, if that is your taste then go for it! The MC uses his skills to steal panties, imagine you’re killed under a truck and then enter another world and do this shitty trick. Kazuma is an insane Mc, he needs mental help other than acting like a japanese oldie who loves stealing panties.
After the success of Konosuba Season 1, Deen Studios decided to make Konosuba Season 2 and Konosuba Season 3 and they were received very well by the loyal fanbase.
Where to watch Konosuba Season 1?
Konosuba Season 1: God’s Blessing on this Wonderful World has around 10 episodes + One OVA! If you wish to watch Konosuba Season 1 then you need to get a Crunchyroll or Netflix Subscription, nowadays all the pirated anime sites are getting banned. That’s why we should support the animation studios by watching the anime we love on paid platforms.
You can also watch it on YouTube for free on ANI-ONE ASIA Channel.
If you’re in search of a humorous parody type Isekai Anime then Konosuba is the right choice.
Conclusion:
Konosuba Season 1 isn’t the best Isekai Anime out there, but if you need an Isekai anime where the Mc doesn’t start as an overpowered character then this one is for you. We see them fail, learn, and slowly gain powers, that’s what keeps us hooked to the season. There are some bad episodes where it looks like the animation studio is just trying to fill up the episode number quota.
If you’re looking for a fun pervy anime that can keep you engaged then Konosuba Season 1 is something you should choose. We will rate Konosuba Season 1 a 7/10, let us know in the comments if you need an Anime Review on Konosuba Season 2 and Konosuba Season 3.
